Thank you for this beautiful article. When I had my last baby my best friend was adopting and my daughter told me she wanted to adopt when she was older. I was talking about that yesterday with a coworker who said she could never be happy with 'just adopted' grand babies. I truly believe babies are babies and families are built in all different ways. My daughter is only 13, but I hope however she decides to build a family as an adult works for her. Babies are babies and family is family.
